At release, the wine is a delicate light cherry red colour with brilliant clarity.

nose

The wine is highly scented with a perfume of fresh strawberry and subtle blackcurrant with underlying delicate herbal lavender notes and cinnamon spice.

palate

This is a light to medium-bodied wine with a delicate texture. On the palate, there are delicious strawberry and cherry flavours with hints of spice from French oak. Overall, the palate is both velvety and crunchy with a long, graceful and wonderfully persistent finish.

oak maturation

The wine was matured in premium old French oak barrels - so as not to overpower the delicacy of the fruit - for 9 months before being bottled.
