Single Variety

region

Clare Valley & McLaren Vale

colour

At release, the wine has a deep crimson red colour to the centre with a vibrant purple hue to the edges.

nose

The wine offers a vibrant burst of ripe mulberry, plum, and dark berry fruits, complemented by subtle notes of violet, creamy vanillin, and a touch of tobacco spice.

palate

This is a rich, full-bodied wine with layers of concentrated flavour. Juicy blackberry and vibrant red fruit notes unfold across the palate, balanced by lively acidity and a touch of dark chocolate. The tannins provide firm structure, shaping the wine beautifully while maintaining a soft, inviting texture. Wonderfully balanced, the wine is immediately enjoyable yet has the depth and presence to age gracefully until 2032 or beyond.

oak maturation

The wine was matured in a selection of American oak hogsheads (combination of new and older oak) for an average of 12 - 15 months before being bottled.

cellaring notes

Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a medium term under ideal conditions.
