colour

On release the wine is a very pale straw colour with a youthful green hue.

nose

It has fresh, lifted aromas of white nectarine and melon with subtle hints of peach and lime. There are underlying savoury notes of crème brûlée, yeasty complexity and mealy richness, with delicate touches of minerality, vanillin and spicy French oak.

palate

The palate delivers what the bouquet promises; juicy tropical fruit characters of pineapple and guava, supported by vibrant, fresh acidity that brings energy and drive. Fine, puckering tannins add structure and length, while the oak sits seamlessly in the background, adding gentle complexity. The wine shows impressive aromatic harmony and varietal expression, with a fleshy texture and well-balanced finish. Overall, it is a mouthfilling wine with great shape and youthful vitality.

oak maturation

The wine was matured for up to 9 months in French oak barriques, selected from renowned Burgundy cooperages. The barrels ranged in age from 1 to 4 years, allowing for gentle oak integration while preserving varietal purity and finesse.
