Pinot Noir
Single Variety
Adelaide Hills
At release, the wine is a bright red with a vibrant purple hue.
The wine has enticing, lifted fruit aromas of red currant and cherry fruits with a touch of spice and a very subtle minty, menthol character.
The wine is medium-bodied with flavours of ripe cherry and fresh, light red berry fruits along with savoury toast and sweet spice characters. The palate is sublimely soft and silky. Subtle oak characters of cinnamon and cedar add to the overall complexity of this fruit-driven wine.
The wine was matured for 9 months in a combination of 1 and 2 year old French oak hogshead barrels prior to bottling.
Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a short term under ideal conditions.
